Roby 1800 is a fully automatic casemaker
With " cover" we mean:
cover one single piece for the realization of files
covers three pieces for the production of hard cover books
covers more pieces, until to 5 pieces, for special productions, as samples
lining-in.
Roby 1800 can realize hard covers by using the following covering materials:

plasticized paper
P.U. (on the basis of the type)

Covering material feeder
- Automatic high pile feeder of the material to glue, able to feed materials with the following sizes:
- Min. size cover: mm. 90 x 190
- Max size cover: mm. 480 x 830
- Min. thickness cover: gr 115
- Cover material picked up from the back

Aspirazione belt
The pushing on an inclined aspirant belt allows the picking up of no flat material and it assures a better register.

The minimum size satisfies too the exigences of production
The cover material is picked up from the back:
In the cover feeder the pick up is from the back, so the cover is pushed and not pulled.
This is a big advantage because the push from the back and the pick up system guarantee a better control of the cover and above all a minor possibility to take "the double" ( two or more sheetes in the same moment).
Aspiration belt with inclination in entry :
After the gluing operation the cover is aspired and transported by the carpet for to be positioned at register in the carton coupling station.
At the exit of the gluing device the carpet is inclined of 30° about and after it returns on the horizontal position.
By this inclination we have a better control of the sheet register and of the material positionad badly.
In fact the glued sheet joins better on a inclined area, more than in a flat area.
Board feder non stop
The sevaral advantage is the board feeder.
By the board feeder is not necessary to stop the production for to charge the carton because the charge is effectued by the high, while the machine continues to produce.
It guarantees an higher production.
Height of the machine.
The height too is a very important aspect: the Roby 1800 is remarkably more ergonomic because it's more "low": 120 cm
So it is not necessary to use footrests and, in case of more operators around the machine, the space available is more.
